Yay! The new VFG extravaganza for Spring is here!
As we
posted last Friday, we're going to be making weekly picks of the must have vintage pieces for Spring according to the
current issue of Vintage Inspirations.
Every Wednesday, VFG Member
cactusandcattails is going to post a thread on the
forums calling for all vintage sellers to show off their current and upcoming auctions that fit the themes. The whole draw is that *everything* posted will be available for you to buy! Either right that minute or within the week. It's perfect for instant gratificationists like myself.
So without further adieu, here are this weeks picks!
Prints Charming & Prints Valiant
You can charm the pants of any man with this
50's Pink Rose Print Dress from
bluevelvetvintage.com (pictured) or if that one doesn't work, this
Robert Norton knockout from
Vintage-a-Peel will definitely do the trick!

Perhaps your man is more of a Prince Valiant type? Desiring wild, colorful print dresses that show off your figure? Then he must be a Pucci fan and you can definitely fill that void with two beauties from
chezmov and
pinky-a-gogo. Alas, if designer is not in your budget, we are in serious love with this paisley canvas Spring jacket (pictured) from
The Vintage Bungalow. View all the Prints Charming/Valiant items
here.
Beauty in the Details
Embroidery, appliqués, and rosettes, oh my! They're all here from
this super adorable black pencil skirt with red flower appliqués (pictured) from ricandbeansvintage.com, this stunning chocolate brown rayon blouse with copper beading from
The Vintage Bungalow and this peach silk crepe 1920s cloche with ruched details from
pastperfectvintage.com. View all the Beauty in the Details items

Black & WhiteA classic, graphic combination that's always in style - black and white. This week you can go bold with a polka dot 60's shift dress from
denisebrain , 50's atomic swirl cufflinks from
fast_eddies_retro_rags or get a second chance at this Betsey Johnson zebra beauty from
Hip Vintage Boutique.

If you're more the demure type this
flocked gingham dress with rhinestones around the neckline from Aaralyn's Velvet Dragonfly will set your heart on fire (pictured). Those earrings are available, too! As will this
80's knockout ribbed rayon little number from
borntoolatevintage. View all the Black & White items
here.
Up the Vampage
If you're looking for racy, sexy and sultry - look no further than the Up the Vampage trend. You can really knock 'em dead in this
amazing black feather and sequins little number from borntoolatevintage. Or get as close as you can to your vamp idol in this
satin trench coat that was actually owned by Bette Davis from riceandbeansvintage.com. But our favorite is this exquisitely tailored classic black rayon
wiggle dress (pictured) from redponyenterprises.com. You can just tell it's the most flattering thing on earth! View all of the Up the Vampage items
here.
Back to the Future
And finally, we take a look at the silver lining - literally. You can rock it out Ziggy Stardust style in these disco
glam 70's Italian made platform mules from fast_eddies_retro_rags, sparkle in this
long silver lurex gown from Material Memories, or jazz up any outfit with this fantastic
Whiting & Davis mesh necklace (pictured) from pinky-a-gogo. View all of the Back to the Future items
