27 Vintage Dresses of February #21

If you haven't found a dress you like, you can always make your own from a vintage pattern. How about this glamorous 1930's gown with ruffles galore from VFG member EvaDress. Click on the link for the pattern, and you'll see the dress made up in red silk. Oh la la!

This is a remarkable example of 1930's detailing! The bodice and skirt front are in one and shaped at the waistline with tucks for fitting. Fins of narrowly hemmed flounces are incorporated at the side seams of the skirt front and back and placed along the optional sleeves.
