The Homer Laughlin China Company of Newell, West Virginia introduced Fiestaware in 1936, and within the first few years of production six colors were made, Red (orange red), Blue (cobalt), Green (jade-like), Yellow (deep golden), Old Ivory (yellowish cream) and Turquoise.
