Let's step back a bit further in time to the 1920's. We're showing you the back of this metallic gold lame dress because it's just so fabulous! This dress is available from VFG member Poppy's Vintage Clothing.
This is a gorgeous 1920s period dress made of a gold metallic lamé fabric. The neckline is scooped, lower in the back, with a fabric "V" starting at the shoulders and running down to a bow decoration at the back. The fabric is printed with an art deco pattern in blue, green, red, beige and brown. It is cut in a classic 1920s style with dropped waist, and skirt made with insets, pointed at the top, lined with blue silk chiffon and cut with a dip at the back. There is no under slip to the dress, but the skirt is fully lined in blue silk chiffon.
